McLean's Coaches welcomes two further Yutong GT12 arrivals
McLean’s Coaches of Airdrie has continued its favour of the Yutong brand with arrival of a further pair of GT12 models, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.
The vehicles represent the newest iteration of the GT12. That has seen a modest facelift to deliver a ‘softer’ front, updating its looks and reducing aerodynamic drag and fuel consumption.
Also fitted is the latest GT-range interior, which is common with the GT14 tri-axle. That gives what the dealership says is a “vastly improved” passenger experience and includes a lighting system with multiple colour shades.
Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 450bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox. The operator notes how more investment is already on the way as it continues its growth trajectory.

Kearney Group UK adds a Scania Irizar i8 for Grand UK Gold tours
Kearney Group UK has taken delivery of a Scania K410 with Irizar i8 bodywork, supplied by Scania UK.
It is a 13.2m example with 44 seats in a dark grey and burnt orange scheme with numbers embossed into the headrests, and matching curtains. A rear servery has been fitted by AD Coach Systems, where it sits alongside a floor-level toilet.
Wi-fi and CCTV are also included. The coach’s use will be on Grand UK Gold tours, for which it carries a distinctive black livery and a personalised registration mark.
The arrival joins over 100 Scanias already in use across the wider Kearney operation. Scania UK notes that the Irizar i8 body was selected in this instance for its “standout kerb appeal.” A two-year repair and maintenance package has been supplied with the new coach.

Elizabeth Yule Transport adds an Altas Tourline S minicoach
Elizabeth Yule Transport of Pitlochry has introduced a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an Altas Tourline S minicoach conversion, supplied by EVM UK.
It has 16 reclining seats in a two-tone grey scheme with three-point belts, armrests at the aisle side, and matching curtains. USB charging and saloon air-conditioning have been specified along with a large drop boot behind a coach-style rear with a top-hinged door.
The Tourline S also comes with an MBUX multimedia system and overhead luggage racks that incorporate passenger service units. Wood effect flooring is included, with carpeting in the aisle, and a powered plug door along with heavily tinted side glazing.
Arrival of the minicoach comes as Elizabeth Yule Transport celebrates 60 years in 2026. Discreet markings noting that anniversary are fitted to the Tourline S.
