Bws Peris welcomes a second Yutong TC9 midicoach arrival
Bws Peris of Llanberis has taken delivery of a second Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach. The latest arrival is a next-generation TC9 and was bought following good performance from the initial example that arrived in 2025.
It has 34 seats of a type shared with larger Yutong coaches in a black and grey scheme, and a factory-fitted rear toilet, which the dealer says makes the midicoach ideally suited to tour groups.
The vehicle is completed in the Bws Peris metallic dark grey that was applied by Yutong in China. Other specification elements include mood lighting, wood-effect flooring, lateral adjustment on aisle seats, and a luxurious driver’s seat.
Power is from the Cummins B6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.

Transdev Blazefield back to Passenger for customer digital services
Transdev Blazefield will return to the Passenger platform to power its customer-facing digital services after a period of working with an alternative supplier.
The initial relationship between the two businesses began in December 2017 with the launch of Transdev Go, a single, integrated mobile app reflecting Transdev Blazefield’s multi-brand identity across Lancashire and Yorkshire.
A multi-operator website came in 2019, creating what Passenger says was one of the most capable ecommerce platforms in the UK bus industry at the time. By early 2023, Transdev Go had passed 100,000 active monthly users, with more customers buying tickets through the app than via any other payment method.
Migration back to Passenger is already underway, with teams from both businesses working closely to ensure that process is seamless. Once complete, Masabi company Passenger will again support the operator’s apps, websites and ecommerce infrastructure.
Transdev Blazefield Managing Director Henri Rohard says the operator is pleased to rekindle its collaboration with Passenger.

Dews Coaches adds a further Mercedes-Benz Tourismo to its fleet
Dews Coaches of Somersham has returned to Daimler Buses UK for a further Mercedes-Benz Tourismo. It joins multiple other examples of the type in the Cambridgeshire fleet.
The latest arrival carries the operator’s green livery and comes with a cherished registration mark. It is a 12m example that has 53 seats finished in Luxline upholstery with synthetic leather inserts.
Footrests, drop-down tables and armrests are other parts of the seat specification, while the new coach comes with a pair of 21.5-inch LCD monitors, USB charging points for passengers, and a heated driver’s seat.
Also fitted are the customary Tourismo safety systems of Active Brake Assist 6, Sideguard Assist 2, and Traffic Sign Assist. To that are added a rear-view camera and General Safety Regulation 2 compliance.
Power is from the 10.7-litre OM 470 engine developing 422bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.
