Hulleys by High Peak adds a pair of Alexander Dennis Enviro200s
Centrebus operation Hulleys by High Peak has added a pair of Enviro200 buses, supplied by Alexander Dennis. Each is 8.9m long and has 30 seats.
They are to the builder’s stock specification and are in use around the Alfreton, Crich and Matlock areas. Finish is in the cream and blue Hulleys livery that was revived by High Peak Buses after the original operator by that name ceased trading in 2025.
Arrival of further Enviro200s with Centrebus follows extensive previous new and used purchases of the type, including longer examples for Hulleys-branded routes. More have since followed for the group.
Speaking about the Hulleys pair, Centrebus Fleet Manager Jim Bates says: “We have always been very impressed with the Alexander Dennis product: efficient, manoeuvrable buses perfect for rural routes, with fast delivery and fantastic back-up.

Hodgsons Coaches welcomes Van Hool TDX27 Astromega pair
Hodgsons Coaches of Barnard Castle has taken delivery of two Van Hool TDX27 Astromega double-decks, supplied by VDL Bus and Coach UK.
They are built to a bespoke specification. Each has 83 Kiel Avance 1020 seats with three-point belts, a drinks machine, a fridge, a Shades Technics toilet, two tables in the lower saloon, and a comprehensive entertainment system.
PSVAR compliance has been specified, with space for one wheelchair user accessed via the centre door. The coaches both have a crew bunk and each comes with a ski box finished to match the customer’s blue and white livery.
Power is from the DAF MX-13 engine developing 530bhp coupled to an Allison T525R six-speed automatic gearbox. The pair were handed over to Hodgsons Coaches director Keith Hodgson (pictured, right) by VDL Bus and Coach UK Area Sales Manager Tim Fairless (pictured, left).

DL Jones adds an Altas Tourline minicoach conversion from EVM
DL Jones of Pontrobert in Powys has added a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an Altas Tourline S minicoach conversion to its fleet, supplied by EVM UK.
The vehicle has 16 Sege premium seats in synthetic leather and with recline. Finish is in dark grey with lighter side flaps. The driver’s position is trimmed to match.
Full-length internal luggage racks with individual passenger service units on the undersides are complemented by a large boot, which is accessed via a coach-style rear with single-piece door to give 4.2 cubic metres of capacity.
Other specification elements include in-dash and saloon air-conditioning units, the MBUX multimedia system with CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity, a reversing camera, double-glazed panoramic side windows, a powered plug passenger door, and silver external finish combined with a cherished registration mark.
