Euro Bus Expo 2016 opens at the NEC tomorrow
Tuesday 1 November marks the return of Euro Bus Expo – the biggest European trade event for the bus and coach industry this year.
Opening at 9.30am at the NEC Birmingham tomorrow, the three day show will bring together thousands of bus and coach operators, local authorities and stakeholders with 291 leading exhibitors. For 2016, there is over 10,000 sqm of vehicle space – transforming Hall 5 (and its outdoor display area) into a giant showcase of the best that this vibrant industry has to offer.
Supported by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) trade association, the 2016 event is expected to welcome over 9,500 key industry buyers and decision makers from across Europe.
“Over the three day show we will all get the chance to catch up with industry friends and colleagues, and hopefully make some new ones along the way. But the real focus of the show comes with seeing all the fantastic new vehicles and products on display. This demonstrates the energy and innovation the bus and coach sector stimulates,” says Simon Posner, CEO of the CPT UK.
“All the latest mini, midi and full size buses and coaches from leading manufacturers and dealers will be on display, including ultra low and zero emission vehicles – hybrid, electric and gas powered. So operators looking to update or add to their fleets can evaluate a variety of specifications and configurations,” says event director Helen Conway.
“Buying a new coach or bus is no small investment. Being able to compare what’s on offer in the market place, and get advice and inspiration to ensure you make the best decisions for your business, is what makes Euro Bus Expo such an exciting and invaluable experience to the thousands of visitors that attend,” she says.
