Richmonds Coaches of Barley has continued its fleet investment with arrival of a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M/3, supplied by Daimler Buses UK.

It was handed over in late 2025 and was the year’s third Tourismo for the Hertfordshire firm. The vehicle is a 13m, tri-axle Tourismo that is finished to the range-topping Premium Plus Ultimate specification, including 53 seats with deep-padded Voyage Ambassador trim, and a centre sunken toilet.

A MirrorCam camera monitoring system in lieu of conventional mirrors has been installed, with LCD screens fitted to each A-pillar. Other safety items include peripheral lighting to aid manoeuvring, Active Brake Assist 6, Sideguard Assist 2, and Traffic Sign Assist.

PSVAR compliance has been specified by Richmonds Coaches, with the Tourismo having a passenger lift immediately behind the front axle. Silver LED destination displays are also fitted.

Power comes from the OM 470 engine developing 422bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.
