Worked on the local authority side of the bus industry since deregulation in Oct 1986. Started at Transport for London as an economist, then Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council where he was Head of Public Transport for over 20 years. Past seven years has been Head of Buses at Leicester City Council majoring on bus policy, partnerships and programme delivery.
