Alison is the Director of Policy and External Relations at the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT), the trade association for the UK bus and coach industry. She leads the organisation’s strategic campaigning and advocacy, working closely with government officials to secure supportive policies, funding, and infrastructure improvements for public transport.

Alison joined the CPT in 2019 following a decade-long career in the UK Civil Service and policy roles within the charity sector, including with the consumers’ association Which?.
