After graduating from Aston University with a transport operations and planning degree, worked for Leicestershire County Council during the days of bus deregulation. Next stop was Midland Fox which became part of the Arriva transport group. For 10 years he worked in bus operations and marketing and became Commercial Manager for the East Midlands.
In late 90s became Marketing Manager and then Director of Investment with Leicestershire Promotions. Here he developed marketing and investor skills crucial in forming GO Travel Solutions. He founded this in 2008 as a specialist sustainable transport consultancy. Clients now include Harworth Group, The Crown Estate, West Northamptonshire Council, and Urban&Civic, among many others.
As well as a passion for sustainable transport motivated by his Christian faith, Robin has a love of Yorkshire and Bradford City!
