Ralph is the director of Practical Edge Ltd. which delivers technician training, engineering design consultancy and forensic investigations to the bus and commercial vehicle industry.
With over 40 year experience in automotive R&D, specialising in powertrain design Ralph has worked with car OEMs such as Ford and JLR and has over 7 years experience working in the bus industry.
He was the engineering director of ZEEbus Ltd. which developed EV repower systems for Volvo B5LH and ADL E400h buses, he has first hand experience of the commercial pressures and engineering reality the affect the industry.
