WideSense is a cutting-edge startup spun out from the world-renowned Model Predictive Controls Lab at UC Berkeley, a lab with over a decade of experience at the intersection of AI and control systems. Our team consists of AI, fleet, and operations experts with deep knowledge in machine learning and system optimization. We specialize in transforming how public and commercial transport operators electrify and operate their fleets, using our physics-based AI platform to deliver real-time, data-driven insights. WideSense’s AI models simulate operational scenarios using over 10 million miles of real-world electric fleet data, enabling us to optimize everything from fleet design to charging infrastructure to scheduling and operations.
