Earlier this year, we announced the deployment of Network Rail’s Digital PACE (Project Acceleration in a Controlled Environment) project control framework, a collaborative project with Method Grid and hosted on our platform. This exciting project marked a significant leap forward for the rail industry – empowering all project management professionals in the UK rail sector with an innovative and comprehensive knowledge resource.

The Digital PACE Framework is a dynamic playbook designed to guide project teams through PACE controls with unparalleled ease and efficiency. This project-based framework offers a structured approach to assess, plan, and evidence project requirements and progress throughout each phase of the project lifecycle. Initially accessible in a Read-Only format, this resource provides easy access to PACE standards and information. Available reference resources include: video explainers, templates and detailed applicability criteria, all fully compliant with UK government accessibility standards.

In a collaborative partnership, SSE Renewables and Method Grid successfully codified a comprehensive digital playbook in just six weeks. This playbook has become instrumental in supporting and assuring key renewable energy projects, directly addressing the sector’s challenges of knowledge transfer, process standardisation, and regulatory compliance. Through this partnership, SSE Renewables has significantly improved its project delivery and operational efficiency, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach to managing the rapid growth and complexity in the renewable energy sector.

What are you most looking forward to at DCW 2024?

We are looking forward to being part of a huge event at DCW 2024, with the chance to meet a variety of new people from different organisations, discuss our platform and help organisations improve how they deliver projects.

Method Grid is already helping a number of different organisations including Amey, Network Rail, SSE and Turner & Townsend and we are excited to introduce our product and services to organisations currently unaware of the benefits our platform can bring.
