CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry and, along with the 37 other schemes that carry the CSCS logo – formally known as the CSCS Alliance, have developed the CSCS Smart Check platform.
CSCS Smart Check allows all 2.1 million cards displaying the CSCS logo to be verified using a single interface, providing employers with a quick, easy and secure way of ensuring everyone has the right card for the job they do on site.
The platform’s API can be built into existing site access systems or card checking equipment, while it can also be used via CSCSSmartCheck.co.uk or downloaded as an app through Google Play or the App Store.
CSCS Smart Check is designed to improve the construction industry’s card checking procedures and site safety while also helping tackle card fraud.
Tell us about your latest product(s), promotions or launches visitors can hope to see on your stand
CSCS Smart Check was initially launched as a mobile app in April 2022 but its API technology can now be built into existing site access and card checking systems, while its desktop version CSCSsmartcheck.co.uk was launched last week.
Following the switching off of Go Smart, CSCS Smart Check is now the construction industry’s primary method of checking CSCS-logoed cards.
