Welcome to Digital Construction Week!

Enterprise Ireland continues to be one of the world’s most prolific investors in technology businesses and we are delighted to be back supporting DCW 2024.

We are the primary government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets and we’re proud to represent a growing portfolio of construction tech businesses.

Digital Construction Week is always an incredible show and a regular highlight in the Enterprise Ireland calendar. We all have different drivers for attending – here are our Top 5 this year.

  • World Rugby

The main stage presentation with World Rugby on their technology driven revolution and the implication for Construction takes place on Wednesday 5th June at 4.30pm. With so much more scope to improve performance on construction sites this is a chance to hear how World Rugby’s governing body is driving better performance for their stakeholders.

  • Founders and Leaders Networking Drinks

The need for a physical market, the in-person meeting place that Digital Construction Week provides is surely somewhat ironic for such a digitally savvy group – “surely we should have an app for that?” I think this assertion ignores the importance of People in the use of technology. Taking place at the end of day one (5 June) of Digital Construction Week at 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm on the Main Stage, ‘World Rugby’s data-driven revolution and the implications for construction‘ will share an overview of the digital advancements that are taking place in World Rugby to drive enhanced safety and performance.

This will then be followed by a panel discussion on the learnings construction professionals can take from this digital transformation. The session will be hosted by John Hunt, Global Lead – Construction at Enterprise Ireland; Ronan Donagher, Head of Games Systems at World Rugby, and Carl Kelly, Digital Construction Lead at Strata.
