Pride and Joy puts heritage at the heart of Citylink’s new bus driver wardrobe
Pride and Joy was tasked with reviewing Citylink’s driver and office uniform which consisted of a traditional shirt and tie, black trousers and a black workwear jacket, which wasn’t cohesive and didn’t reflect the brand as well as it could.
For the focal point, Pride and Joy started with a brand-new bespoke tartan tie, working with the brand colours of navy, blue and yellow. A matching tartan scarf, navy dress and cardigan options for office staff and for drivers, a corporate shirt, trousers, jumper or tank top and softshell gilet or jacket. Staff are also given a yellow and blue hi-viz vest and coat to complete the wardrobe.
“Citylink’s uniform is a hybrid wardrobe with corporate garments along with an eye for health and safety with the hi-viz coats and jackets. Introducing new elements like the bespoke tartan tie and scarf adds a modern-day heritage feel.” Says Jane Byrne. “Retaining certain elements such as the traditional shirt and tie felt appropriate for the company’s traditional service values and providing some great layering choices for staff gives them greater autonomy over their uniform.”
Pride and Joy will be presenting its new bus driver uniform collections on stand 348.
