After winning ’New Product of the Year’ at the Organic Beauty Awards, we caught up with one of the leading natural Nordic skincare and haircare brands, Urtekram about winning the award and their plans for joining Natural Beauty & Health Show in November.
How do you feel about winning ‘The New Product of the Year’ in the Organic Beauty Awards (sponsored by Natural Beauty & Health Show )?
Oh it is absolutely amazing! We are so happy. I have believed so much in this product from the moment I got the idea and planned all the time for it to be “the Queen” of the range, Detox & Glow! Now this was the moment it got its crown – which is great!
What makes your winning product unique?
The fact that it suits all skin-types, boost the effect of the rest of your skin care products and of course the superfruits! The vitamin C comes from Burdekin-, Illawara- and Kakadu plums containing more than 100 times more vitamin C than an orange! This is a real hydra-booster that melts into your skin immediately and gives a lovely glow. And we must not forget about the scent… a typical beauty scent…just fresh and wonderful, everyone will love it!
We need to use the resources nature has provided us with, we do not have to create new synthetic ingredients that nature then has to “take care” of.
What are you looking forward to most about exhibiting at Natural Beauty & Health Show 2022, In November?
It will be so nice to show all our products, talk to people about them in the industry and spread the word about Urtekram Nordic Beauty and Narcissa by Urtekram.
Why is it important for the beauty industry to support natural, organic and sustainable beauty?
Today it is important for all business and brands to be circular and not add waste, for our planet and future generations. The beauty industry is no exception. Also the consumer mindset has changed and is still developing towards wanting “clean beauty” sustainable beauty products and packaging, and natural ingredients that your skin is familiar with. We need to use the resources nature has provided us with, we do not have to create new synthetic ingredients that nature then has to “take care” of.
