The UK’s PAs will now be able to enjoy over 48 hours of dedicated training, personal development, networking and industry recognition, says event organiser Diversified Communications UK following the recent announcement that the 2012 Executive PA Magazine | Hays Awards will now take place following the second day of office* on 13 September.
Commenting on the news, office* event manager Ali Mead said: “The Executive PA Magazine | Hays Awards are a very special and important occasion for the PA and office manager community to come together and recognise and reward the exceptional talent and contributions of the individuals working within it. So, we are delighted that this year’s award ceremony has been moved to coincide with office*, which itself is dedicated to promoting and supporting office professionals across the UK. With National PA Day and the office* Party @ Planet Hollywood on Wednesday 12 September and the awards gala after show close on Thursday 13 September – for 48 hours London will be at the centre of the biggest celebration of the PA and office manager community the UK has ever seen!”
Launched in 2000, The Executive PA Magazine awards, which are usually held in October, have joined forces with the Hays PA of the Year Award (launched as the Hays/Times PA of the Year in 2006) to create the first Executive PA Magazine | Hays Awards. The Awards Gala Dinner is being held at The London Film Museum, and offers a unique opportunity to reward hard work and professionalism within the PA community. Now, more than ever, winning an Executive PA Magazine | Hays Award is the ultimate accolade for high-level office professionals.
“There’s no question that the Hays team takes the PA and EA role (and the awards) as seriously as we do.
