Now only days away, visitors to this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe trade show at London’s Olympia this weekend on Sunday and Monday, 13-14 April, will enjoy an increased opportunity to expand their natural and organic ranges, with over 550 exhibiting companies from 45 different countries now confirmed.
With visitor pre-registration figures already comfortably ahead of the same time last year, the sold out 2014 edition looks set for another record turnout. More than 9,000 health, food and beauty buyers – including representatives from major supermarkets and multiples, specialist suppliers, international wholesalers and distributors, pharmacies, leading contract caterers, salons and spas, plus hundreds of independent retail outlets – are expected to attend.
Natural and organic is big business around the world, and each year it’s getting bigger. The latest European data published by organic research specialists FiBL reports that the organic food and drink market in the EU grew by 6% to reach €20.9 billion in 2012; whilst research company Organic Monitor predicts that global sales of natural and organic beauty products will reach around US$14bn by 2015.
Buyers looking to refresh and expand their natural, organic, fair trade, free-from, and eco living offerings – and take a bigger bite out of these lucrative (and growing) markets – will find a host of new products ideas from some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers and suppliers at Natural & Organic Products Europe 2014.
New Product Showcase
The event’s popular New Product Showcase, which includes Health & Nutrition, Natural Beauty & Spa, Organic Non-Food, Natural Living & Home, plus four food and drink categories, currently includes over 307 entries – up 10% on last year’s total.
Always a popular destination, visitors to the showcase on Sunday 13 April will also be able to vote for their favourite new products, which will be announced later that night at the prestigious Natural and Organic Awards (hosted by Natural Products magazine, in association with the Soil Association).
