Giving Back

Two of our core values are Caring and Community, and our employees take advantage of many opportunities to do service work and give back to their communities. Employees can nominate non-profits to receive corporate contributions and holiday donations, participate in our annual Days of Caring community service efforts, and are supported with Volunteer Time through our Paid Time Off policies.

We help employees save for retirement by auto-enrolling them in a 401(k) plan with a 6% contribution, matching up to 4%, and an annual profit-sharing contribution based on performance.

Working in the Arts District of Portland is fun, but it would be a real headache without available parking. We want to give our employees a great start to their day, so we provide company-paid parking in a nearby garage to make things a bit easier.

One schedule size does not fit all…and we recognize the benefit of providing employees with the flexibility and support to balance work and demands in their personal life. Many employees work our hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days from home), some work a fully remote schedule from their home office, and some prefer to come to the office each day.

Whether it’s working at one of our events, taking a class in-house or at a local university, travelling internationally through our Global Connection program, or mentoring a new team member, taking advantage of training and education assistance at Diversified is easy.

Our Employee Activity Committee puts the FUN in “functions” that include semi-annual company-wide celebrations, seasonal social events such as “back to school,” Opening Day, and Super Bowl parties, and scavenger hunts. We get to wear jeans to work, bring our dogs in on Fridays, and the ice cream truck has been known to make a visit on a hot July day in the summer!

After six months, employees receive a monthly contribution toward your student loans, starting at $50 and increasing to $100 after one year, with a lifetime cap of $10,000. Contributions are tax-free and help reduce your loan principal.
