Whilst Diversified’s Brighton team played limbo in the south, the Peterborough team headed to the picturesque Ferry Meadows Country Park for their summer fun, which saw the return of the testing ‘Universally Challenged’ quiz!
Everyone split into teams with quiz in hand and props on heads. Our personal favourite has to be the ‘blue rinse brigade’ (fashioning their looks below):
The quiz consisted of general knowledge questions such as ‘how many feet are there in a fathom?’ and ‘what type of cheese is made backwards?’ (check out the full list of questions below) followed by a ‘name the (diversified team member) baby’ picture challenge, an anagram, and a ditloid challenge, a colleague quiz, a dingbats challenge, even more general knowledge questions, name the sports personalities, and lastly ‘name the UK destination’ challenge – phew!
After a tough battle of wits, the winners were the Sluddsy’s Squad which comprised of team captain Jessica Sludds (trainee journalist), Pippa Allsop (operations manager), Mark Williams (editor, MiniPLUS magazine) and Daniel Lunn (sales manager, routeONE magazine). Prizes were awarded to all teams by new group director, Simon Coe. This was quickly followed by a competitive game of football, food and drinks in the sun.
