The Diversified teams in Brighton, Peterborough and Cotswolds had their odd socks on today, in support of national Anti-Bulling Week.
Anti-Bullying Week was launched in 2004 to raise awareness of bullying that can affect children and young people, in schools and elsewhere. The campaign helps to shine a light on the problem of bullying and ways to help resolve the issue.
This year’s theme is “Choose Respect” and the Anti-Bullying Alliance behind the campaign are encouraging everyone to participate in Odd Sock Day as a way to highlight the importance of respecting everyone’s uniqueness.
Diversified’s Odd Sock Day was coordinated by our HR Director, Hazel Slimmon, who says: “Whilst it’s incredibly important to highlight this issue for children and young people, it’s also important to highlight that bullying can happen in workplaces too and isn’t limited to one age group.”
“Here at Diversified, we pride ourselves in providing a positive working culture that has a no tolerance policy to bullying in the workplace.”
