The Diversified UK and USA teams came together on Friday 2 December for our annual Strategy Day which took place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. USA guests included president & CEO Ted Wirth and corporate vice president of human resources Janice Rogers.

Kicking off the day, MD Carsten Holm gave an in-depth review of the company including the successful highlights of 2016, which was then followed by plans for the coming year from Ted Wirth.

The UK team’s then gave their divisional product reviews about what’s been going on in each office and future plans including opportunities and challenges.

We were also joined by life coach and motivational speaker Peter Cohen who shared some trails and tribulations of his client’s stories – and how he helped them to overcome their limitations and personal challenges.

Left feeling inspired and energised, we discussed our ideas for the year ahead in small groups, coming under seven key themes (for example, customer care, culture and the way we work) – which were then presented to the rest of the room.

After a productive and informative day with lots of great ideas shared, we headed out to Brighton seafront for our annual company photo!
