Meet James Gale, the newest addition to the Diversified team.  James is based in the Brighton office, and is joining us to work on the Coach, Bus & group Tourism portfolio as a Senior Marketing Executive.

What role will you be doing at DivCom?

I am joining the Peterborough team as Senior Marketing Executive working on the Coach, Bus & group Tourism portfolio.

Tell us a bit about your work background?

I began my career in marketing working for a small software development company whilst undertaking an apprenticeship in Marketing for Business. From there, I progressed into working in the central marketing team of a national estate agency chain for 2 years. For the last almost 6 years, I’ve worked in marketing for an education pathway provider – working with various universities to give international students opportunities to begin their studies in the UK. Within that role, I took on various hats, including various projects from managing a suite of websites and that stage of the customer journey, through to full rebrands and product launches.

Tell us a bit about yourself?

Outside of work, I enjoy getting myself to football – as a season ticket holder of Brighton. I am also partial to playing as part of a regular 5-a-side group to keep myself fit. I’m also a keen squash player – whilst probably not as good as I like to think I am, I try to be as competitive as I can!

What attracted you to work at Diversified?

I’ve known about Diversified for a few years now, and have somewhat been watching and waiting for an opportunity to get involved. The role here is a good match for my previous experience, whilst giving me an opportunity to work on something new and experience the fun and excitement of large events.

I also luckily had a few people who had worked at Diversified before, and they had nothing but good things to say about the company culture, and how well they look after their staff, which is a big thing for me. I am very excited to get my teeth into new experiences and embrace the company culture.
