Meet Charlee Singleton, the newest addition to the Diversified team.  Charlee is based in the Brighton office, and is joining us to work on London Design Fair as a Digital Marketing Executive.

Tell us a bit about your work background

I fell into the marketing field somewhat by accident when I took over all the digital marketing at local Brighton yarn store YAK, where I had been working during the last year of my degree. I immediately loved using my creativity to create effective and unique campaigns to help the business succeed and knew that this was the direction I wanted to take for my career. I have spent the past two years developing my content creation, copy-writing, web editing and marketing campaign skills for two businesses and I’m looking forward to expanding on these at Diversified!

Tell us a bit about yourself

I have a very wide range of hobbies, so much so that I sometimes struggle to fit them all in! I’m a skillful knitter, crafter, amateur cosplayer, heavy metal and food loving aerial hoop enthusiast – although if I had to pick just one, I’d have to choose knitting. You’ll most likely find me around the office wearing a jumper I’ve made myself!

What attracted you to work at Diversified?

Both my previous marketing roles have been in very small teams where I was responsible for planning, creating and executing all the marketing ideas and campaigns. Whilst this was stimulating, I wanted to join a larger organisation where I can contribute to a wider team effort whilst still keeping close to the creative field that I thrive in. When the opportunity came up to work for Diversified I thought it was perfect, everything I’ve been looking for as well as amazing opportunities for progression in my future career.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself

I’m a very crafty person and I love to make my own clothes and home decor. My favourite of all the crafts is knitting! Last year I managed to knit all the Christmas presents for my friends and family (it’s not going as well this year!)
