Meet Amy Nixon, the newest addition to our marketing team.  Amy is joining our lovely Peterborough team but will be based in the Brighton office, she’s a Senior Marketing Executive for the Coach, Bus and group Tourism portfolio.

Tell us a bit about your work background

I have worked across a range of industries in my marketing career over the past 10 years, adapting and applying skills in social media management for brands such as United Biscuits, KP Snacks and Perkier Snacks in my early days. I developed skills in content creation and website management for a Highways Maintenance company for 7 years which was a drastic change from working on the more ‘fun’ well-known brands, but I thoroughly enjoyed working as part of their Marketing team and getting out on the road network to gain stories.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I enjoy going for long walks – exploring the outdoors, nature and wildlife has always been a form of escapism for me. I am part of a local running club, dance group and enjoy the occasional game of tennis… even though I am a bit rusty, I’ll make every effort to put on a competitive game!
