Today at Diversified, we held a gathering of our male and female employees to mark International Women’s Day 2020 – which takes place on Sunday, March 8th!

The important, and insightful, discussion centered around the concept of  ‘An equal world is an enabled world’ – and it brought up some very interesting topics!

Over some drinks and nibbles, we highlighted the main challenges that face both men and women in the workplace, and spoke about what we could do to help overcome them!

As important as it is to recognise how far we have come in working towards equality, it is also important that we acknowledge the long road ahead of us in the fight for the equality of so many women around the world.

The team, led by HR Department Hazel and Ina, asked some very important questions, such as:

Why is it so important that we work towards a balanced world – where men and women are equal?

What can we do to change the gender based stereotypes in the workplace?

It was great to have the participation of so many of our employees when discussing the important issue of equality in 2020!
