Meet Alex Harris, the newest addition to the Diversified team. Alex is based in the Brighton office, and is joining us to work on SITS as a Sales Manager. Alex is covering Alice Fulton as she heads off on maternity leave.
Tell us a bit about your work background
My previous job roles have all somehow related to sales or hospitality. With some essential, core lessons learnt early on when selling cars for seven years with Volkswagen and Toyota. Along with selling cars which I have a great passion for, I have sold advertising within a high end magazine, producing and growing its very own Food and Drink section. I put on wedding exhibitions across Sussex and Hampshire before joining Diversified four years ago and working on Commercial Kitchen, building new relationships with all new clients of a recently launched and growing show. Amidst this varying, all be it, linked portfolio of (many!) years of work, I had also mastered learning each area of restaurant work which led up to managing teams in hospitality – from large, busy restaurants to the smaller scale of a bustling, local café by the sea.
All of these roles have allowed me to thrive and expand my passion for selling and providing outstanding customer support and care.
Tell us a bit about yourself
In any spare time that I get, I try to get back into nature. I thoroughly enjoy being on the water with the kids on the paddle boards or walking way out and beyond with our part time dog. I have a passion for travelling and still get over excited every time we fly somewhere new.
I love listening to music whenever possible and I try to see as much live music as I can. I enjoy eating beautiful food made with love, a decent coffee and a quality red wine. These simple things make me very happy.
When I’m not just enjoying quality downtime with my family, I am seeking out some sort of new adventure!
What attracted you to work at Diversified?
As I am a returning team member to Diversified, I was already aware of what a great working environment it provides. The company and its team members are super supportive and enthusiastic. Plus the team are thoroughly passionate about what they do. It’s a happy and positive place to work and feels great to be back with them and be part of their successes.

I am excited to be back with Diversified once again, this time acting Sales Manager for SITS – The Service Desk and IT Support show. Covering maternity leave for Alice Fulton.
